Farmers Market

Yesterday I threw caution and my to mend pile to the winds and started a new quit! Nothing beats the February blahs like cutting up a bunch of perfectly good fabric right?
I had this big stash of fruit and veggie fabrics so I combined them with some wood grain and basket weave fabric and I'm calling it Farmers Market.
All day I was thinking, what will I do with this one??? I did a lot of blocks, and I love how vibrant they are, but what am I going to do with it????
Well once they were all pressed and trimmed I got them up on the design wall and it was so nice and bright that I invited the big guy in to see. His gut reaction?
"I love that!!! can that be ours?"
Really? uh, okay! cool! He even loved the name I picked. Then he asked if I was going to back it with meat and sausage fabric!

I love the idea of framing the goodies this way and the name fits perfectly. Not so sure about the butcher's backing though ;-)
