blocks and links

So, here are the peas and carrots blocks I worked on quite some time ago! Since sewing has been out for the last 6 weeks, I've been playing with blocks on my design wall.
Ignore the heart blocks, those are for something else.
Here are the blocks sort of close together on blue.

here are the blocks spaced further apart on blue......
I kind of like them further apart.

Here they are on white, with other connector blocks. I'm not sure I like them on white, I think they show up better on the blue.
and I'm not too sure about the connector blocks either, it sort of looks too busy don't you think? Or actually what does everyone think? Please tell me, it's not like I'll go by what anyone says anyway! ;-) but I do like to read opinions!
now here are some links from my friend Trudy. You met her a few posts ago when she picked my winner.

http://www.dreamthin.com/ diet tips and links etc.
and

check them out and see what you think!

Hmmmm...I dont' know. The blocks are lovely - but I am not feeling the blue. Sorry, just me. Then again I can't think of another background LOL...

I do like the blocks and the hearts are wonderful too!

I do not care for the blue. It overpowers the quilt blocks. I do like the looks of option #3

I like option 3 too. The blocks seem to be more the "star of the show".

I hope you're fully recovered soon!

OK, sadly I often have too many opinions, so here goes:

1. Not loving the blue.
2. Not loving the white either.
3. I think you need to make it all those blocks and not use fillers. I love that busy look and think that might be nice. Lump them together and take another photo for us...
4. What about a 30s light print? Very light?
5. Is that a Parrot post card above your bulletin board?
6. What are your plans for all that lovely gingham?

There.... I warned you. I have too many opinions.

Connected.

Darker yellow pastel background.

You'll thank me later.

Or now.

Or ignore me 'cause that's easiest.

I can't stop looking at the chicken in your "is it spring at last" post.

Oh, and call me - I think that that will be the easiest way for me to walk you through the "hyperlink" thing.... That was supposed to be #7 on my long list above....
